Drift To The Limits

Game Designer / Level Designer & Gameplay Dev

For my graduation project, I decided to work on an exciting racing game that offers an immersive experience for the players.

This game will have a unique gauge system that players can fill up by drifting, and use the gauge to give their car a boost of speed. This feature will add an additional layer of strategy to the gameplay, making it even more thrilling and engaging. Overall, my goal is to create an over-the-top racing game that offers a seamless and exciting experience to the players.

Sea of Love
Videodrome

This project was a challenging exercise assigned to us last year. Our goal was to develop a narrative game that relied solely on environmental and gameplay elements, with no written text involved.

"Sea of Love" is a unique walking simulator game where players assume the role of someone traveling through their memories using a peculiar TV device to free themselves from the grips of a work obsession

The Hunting Loop

At the beginning of third year, a selection was made to choose which project would be developed throughout the year.

Anyone could submit a game concept, but only eight were selected.

I decided to rework the pitch for one of my previous Game Jam projects.

A two player versus game of tag, in a first person split screen with an asymmetric gameplay. Players can switch roles when the Swap occurs, making the Hunter becomes the Hunted. Because the Hunter is invisible for the Hunted, players have to cheat by looking at each other screen to know where they are.

Think outside the Mirror

To start the third year, our school gave us one week to create a game.

We were allowed to choose our own teammates, so we decided to work with our Game Jam team on this project.

This first-person puzzle game requires the player to use and place mirrors in order to create bridges between the real and mirror worlds. By carefully observing reflections, players can bring objects from the mirror world into the real world. However, some objects don't exist in the mirror world and placing the mirror down will cause them to disappear.

At first it was a joke with a friend after seeing a movie about a vampire.

We imagined a strange mexicain vampire trying to find his friend in a middle of a desert during the day.

He's wearing a massive sombrero hat to protect himself from the sun,

Then the pandemic came and the joke start to become a fantasy.

I start by making my own engine using a C++ library and did my best to make something.

Then during Lisaa's years I challenged myself on the concept and I had many iterations on Unity until I found a catching moveset.

Now  I'm developping the game in my free time.

Gringo is a 2D platformer where we play a vampire cover with a massive hat that can swim in sand like a dolphin

Game Designer & Gameplay Dev

For the last project of the 2nd year, we had to choose a game pitch from a current 3rd year project and make a game with it.

We had free hand on the modification and design of the game.

My team and I choose "Inner World" a narrative driven game.

Eventide is a first person exploration game about coping with grief and self-discovering oneself featuring watery elements and mechanics that resonate within a deep narrative.
